Ronald B. Jones, Owner
Ron graduated from Ludlow High School and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He served in the United States Navy Medical Corps. Ron began working for Catherman Funeral as a teenager. After working for 15 years, he purchased the funeral home. Ron has been a very active member of the community. He is the Past President and member of the Ludlow Rotary Club, past Governor and member of the Kentucky Rotary International, Past President and member of the Ludlow PTA, Past District Chairman of Dan Beard Boy Scouts of America, Past President and member of Ludlow/Bromley Businessmen’s Association, Life Member of Kentucky PTA, Charter President of Ludlow Athletic Boosters Association, One of six Board of Directors to develop and Build Ludlow/Bromley Swim Club, member of the Ludlow Independent Schools Board of Education 1966-1981, member of Summit Hills Country Club, member of Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, member of Covington Rotary Club, member of Covington/Kenton County Lions Club, member of the Ludlow Vets. Ron has been married to his wife, Grace, for 50 years.

Grace Jones, Owner
Grace is also a lifelong resident of Ludlow. Born on Highway Avenue. Grace is Treasurer of the Funeral Home and takes pride that all statements are paid upon their arrival. She is also an avid tennis player and gardener of flowers personally taking care of all the flowers around the funeral home premise, which brings her great satisfaction and praise from the community. She is a member of the Ludlow PTA and attends all of the organizational functions with her husband Ron. She is a graduate of Ludlow High School as is all her children with the exception of Cheryl who graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, Kentucky. She has repeatedly redecorated the interior of the funeral home every 10 years and has personally over seen the establishments. She is the mother along with Ron of 4 daughters, Michele, Andrea, Julie and Cheryl and as of this writing Ron and Grace share 11 grandchildren.

Cheryl (Jones) Darpel, Funeral Director
Cheryl graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Eastern Kentucky University with a BS in Biology, minor in Chemistry and Xavier University with a MEd in Secondary Education. She was a science teacher and basketball coach at Boone County High School and Notre Dame Academy from 1992-2012. Cheryl and her husband, Paul, have five children, Ben, Abby, Nate, Nick, Luke, and are members of St. Pius X Church.

Josh Parton, Funeral Director
Josh Parton graduated from Covington Catholic High School and attended the University of Louisville. He is a member of the Father Kehoe Council, Knights of Columbus, and Erlanger Lions Club.

Jessica Nienaber, Funeral Director
Jessica Nienaber graduated from Scott High School, attends Northern Kentucky University and obtained her Kentucky Funeral Directors Licensure in 2013. Jessica worked four years at the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky and has been with Ronald B. Jones Funeral home for eleven years. She is a member of St. Agnes Parish, Ft. Wright Civic Club Board, The City of Ft. Wright Parks and Recreation Board, Catholic Diocesan Children’s Home Halo League, Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky, and National Funeral Directors Association. She is resides in Ft. Wright with her husband, and their son, Carter.

Monica Sallee, Receptionist
Monica Sallee graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills and Centeral Academy of Commercial Art in Cincinnati. Monica was the former Art Director for Swallens Department in Cincinnati. She is a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington and has been with the Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home for 10 years. Monica resides in Hebron with her husband, Jim and they have three children.

Jack Denham
Jack is a Ludlow native who after graduating from Ludlow High School and attending Morehead State University embarked on a thirty-two year career in Law Enforcement. First working eight years with the Ludlow Police Department and then taking a position as a Detective in the Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Office where he served for twenty-four years.
Upon retiring from law enforcement Jack began his second chapter working for St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY as a member of the Security Department. He served there for an additional sixteen years.
Jack is married to Earlyne “Beaver” Denham and they have a daughter, Randi, and a granddaughter, Kyla Jane, who reside in Pinehurst, N. C. Jack and “Beaver” reside in Crescent Springs, KY. They are active members of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Bromley, KY and Jack is a member of Kenton County F.O.P. Lodge #20 and Colonel Clay Lodge 159 F. & A. M.
Jack and “Beaver” enjoy traveling to Myrtle Beach and spending time in the Smokey Mountains. Jack’s hobbies are music and photography.
Jack has been a member of the Ronald B. Jones staff since November 2016.

Steve Meyers
Steve Meyers worked for Delta Airlines for 32 years until his retirement in 2008. He is currently employed by Beechwood Independent Schools. Steve has been married to Belinda for 35 years. He has two children, Ashley Strotman and Chris Meyers. Steve also has three grandchildren.
