William "Bill" J. Quinn

William "Bill" J. Quinn, 90, of Ft. Wright, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November, 29, 2014 at St. Charles Homestead wing in Ft. Wright. He worked at the Kenton County Courthouse for over 50 years. Bill served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He loved horse racing and watching and recording vintage movies. He enjoyed being with family and friends. Bill was a member of the Ludlow Vets, the Kelly Furnish VFW Post, Christopher Gist Historical Society, and inducted into the Ludlow Football Hall of Fame. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a Kentucky Admiral.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Quinn; parents, William and Edith (Jackson) Quinn; sister Catherine Schrand and a brother John Quinn.


Bill is survived by his loving sister, Rosemary Young of Burlington; stepson, Jim Godsey of Fort Mitchell and many nieces and nephews.


A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon all in Sts. Boniface and James Church in Ludlow, Kentucky. Entombment with honor guard tribute is at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Erlanger, Kentucky.


In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Charles Care Center, 600 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011.
