William Richard “Bill” Poncer, 88, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018. Bill served our country in the US Navy and received a Purple Heart in Korea and a National Defense Ribbon. He was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church in Lakeside Park, D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) and the American Legion. Bill liked ballroom and square dancing. Survivors include his devoted wife, Grace Poncer of Ft. Wright; daughter, Patricia Ann (James Paul) Marks of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Katherine Rose Marks of Lexington and James Paul Marks III of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert L. Poncer. Visitation is on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:30 AM to the hour of Service at 11:30 AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger, KY.
