Violet “Vie” Bishop, 75, of Erlanger passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2024 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward Bishop; her children, Dawn (Francis) DiVita, Tom (Terra) Bishop, Ken Bishop, and Chris (Molly) Bishop; her grandchildren, Daisy (Brady), Dylan, Cassidy, Kaitlyn, Allison, Jessica, Logan, and Hannah; and her great-grandson, Silas, all of whom brought her endless joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Violet Feiler, and her siblings, Patricia Andrew, Joseph Feiler, and Lenny Feiler.
Vie had an unmatched love for animals and always made sure her home was filled with pets. Her fierce love for her family shone in everything she did—from quitting her job to help care for a grandchild to crafting any Halloween costume her grandchildren could think of and crocheting cherished blankets for her loved ones. As a beautician, she was the family’s trusted hairstylist and always made sure everyone looked their best.
Vie’s warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for her family will be missed beyond measure. Her legacy is woven into the laughter of her grandchildren, the comfort of a handmade blanket, and the cherished stories that will be told for years to come.
