Vida L. Weiss, 71, of Bromley, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She was a Machine Operator at Premier Industries and was the owner of J & V Janitorial. Vida loved making crafts and she loved to dance.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Pennington; father, Garmon Pennington; sister, Frances Schell; brothers, Edwin Pennington, James Pennington; grandchildren, Jennifer Browning, Catlin Browning, Shona Partin, Hannah Partin and Dean Ridner.
Survivors include her husband, John Weiss III; children, Karen (Steve) Shields of Bromley, Teri Townsend of Villa Hills, Ronald (Leslie) Stephens, Melissa (Randy) Zumwalde, Jonathan (Ashlee) Weiss; step-daughter, Mary Weiss Bolton; brother, Pete Pennington of Columbus, OH; sisters, Sandra Gibbs of Independence, JoAnne Partin of Ludlow; 20 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 4:00 PM to the hour of service at 6:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in Highland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to, the Vida Weiss memorial fund, made payable to Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home.
