Thelma "Jean" Shell, 70, a dedicated homemaker, passed away at her residence with her loved ones by her side on June 6, 2024. She was a pillar of love and strength for her family and friends.
Jean's life was a testimony to the beauty of simple pleasures. Her world revolved around her grandchildren whom she adored and spoiled endless love. Known for her welcoming home, Jean found joy in spending time on her front porch, savoring coffee, and engaging in heartfelt conversations with family, friends and neighbors.
Jean had a passion for cooking and cherished the occasional night out at the boat. Her ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere made everyone feel like they belonged. She will always be remembered for the love she poured into her family and the joy she brought to those around her.
Jean is preceded in death by her soulmate Jack Foster, parents, Bradley and Nannie Shell, brothers, James, Hurlan, Danny Ray, Wallace Shell, sisters, Judy Metcalfe, Roberta Brown, Lula Mae Brown, Opal McIntosh, Francis Bledsoe, Mary Shell, Raberta Shell and Anna Lee Aycock.
She is survived by her daughters, Krissy (Corey Burke) Couch of Ludlow, Kathy (Raymond) Foster Rogg of Erlanger, Desiree Foster of East Enterprise, IN; sons, Jack (Samantha) Foster Jr. of Southgate, James (Mary) Foster of Crittenden; Matthew (Amy) Foster of Eastgate; brother, Walter Shell of Columbia, TN; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;
Visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2024 from 11:00AM until the hour of Service at 1:00PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41011.
