Richard Wentz
Richard E. Wentz, 73, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away on Monday June 14, 2021 at his residence. He was a retired attorney. Richard graduated from Centre College where he played football and was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He then received a Master's Degree from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Richard was a member of Florence Christian Church, and former member of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. He was a proud Eagle Scout and he loved to play tennis and gardening.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Kidwell Wentz; sons, Noah (Maria) Wentz of Covington, Josh Wentz of Ft. Mitchell, Seth (Lisa) Wentz of Union and 2 grandchildren, Nathan Sowder and Molly Wentz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Melvina Wentz and brother, William Wentz.
Visitation is on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
