Raquel Glee Rogers

Raquel Rogers, formerly known as Raquel Marcum, was born on March 19, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, at her home in Florence, Kentucky, surrounded by her beloved family.

Raquel was a devoted mother to her four children, Bailey Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Colton Rogers, and only daughter Kaley Rogers House (Jonah). Each of them brought joy to her life and filled her days with purpose and love. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were hallmarks of her role as a mother, and she will be deeply missed by her children.

Raquel is also survived by her fiancé, Mark Meyer, who stood by her side, sharing in both the joys and challenges of life alongside her. Their relationship was a testament to love, trust, and commitment.

In addition to her children and fiancé, Raquel is also survived by her loving mother Virgie Mosley (Bobby), and sister Rebecca Marcum Floyd (Tad, Reece). Raquel is preceded in death by her loving father, Gregory Keith Marcum.  

Raquel’s warmth, kindness, and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of strength and resilience. One of the greatest joys of Raquel’s life was spending time with her precious children and family. The depth of her love will never be forgotten, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Raquel’s unwavering faith and trust in the Lord’s plan and her salvation in Jesus Christ provided her with strength, comfort and peace during her most challenging moments. She held onto hope, knowing that God‘s love would carry her through. Raquel‘s faith is a source of inspiration to all who knew her and a testament to the grace and mercy of her savior.

Visitation will be held on September 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Community Family Church,11875 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051. Service will be the following day, September 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Community Family Church. Burial will follow at Richwood Cemetery in Richwood, KY.
