Peggy Lee Rector

Peggy Lee Rector, 71, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at her residence. Born June 8, 1953, in Covington, Kentucky, Peggy dedicated her life to nurturing her family and a loving home.

A devoted wife to her husband, Paul Rector, for 46 wonderful years, Peggy’s life revolved around the love and care she provided to her loved ones. She was the proud mother and as a grandmother, her joy knew no bounds, and she adored spoiling her grandchildren showering them with love and laughter.

Peggy’s unwavering support for her children and grandchildren was evident through her enthusiastic presence at every sports event, where she cheered from the sidelines with a heart full of pride. Her deep affection for her family was matched only by her passion for cooking, sharing delicious meals that brought everyone together around the table.

An avid participant in community activities, Peggy enjoyed her time playing BINGO and shopping for great deals, always accompanied by her hardy and infectious laugh that lit up every room. She had a remarkable ability to find joy in the little things and was a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Paul Rector of Ludlow; son, Josh (Samantha) Rector of Independence; brother, Darrell Waters of Ludlow; sister, Carolyn Knipp of Hebron and grandchildren, Joshua and Jonah Rector of Independence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Josie Waters, and her brother Eddie Waters, who surely welcomed her with open arms.

Visitation on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:00AM until the hour of Memorial Service at 12:00PM, all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY.
