Patricia "Pat" M. Quinn

Patricia "Pat" M. Quinn, 82, of Union, Kentucky, was born on November 11, 1942, in Covington, Kentucky, and gracefully departed this life on January 16, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky.  Surrounded by her loving family, Pat's final moments reflected the deep bonds she cherished throughout her life.

Pat's educational journey began at Villa Madonna Academy, where she laid the foundation for a remarkable academic career. She furthered her studies at Mt. St. Joseph, ultimately earning a degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. Her passion for science and education guided her professional endeavors, leading to a successful career with the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. She later concluded her career at the University of Cincinnati Kettering Laboratory, leaving a legacy of dedication and excellence.

In her personal life, Pat was known for her decisive nature. She was an individual who took control of her destiny, clearly understanding what she wanted out of life and pursuing it with determination. This characteristic extended into her family life, where her proudest accomplishments were her cherished family members. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Don Quinn; her daughter, Beth (Scott) Stillabower; her granddaughters, Madison and Sydney; cousin Barbara Moore; and many nieces and nephews. Together, they embody the love and joy she brought into the world.

Pat enjoyed various hobbies, including knitting and sewing, which allowed her to express her creativity and share her talents with loved ones. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Agnes Mauer, who undoubtedly influenced Pat's strong values throughout her life.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at t St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church,10272 US-42, Union, KY 41091.

Patricia's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, cherished not only for her accomplishments but also for the warmth and love she shared throughout her life.
