Norbert Henry Baute Sr. 90, of Lakeside Park, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was a Route Driver for The Coca-Cola Company in Cincinnati, where he devoted an impressive 41 years of his life. His commitment to his work was matched only by his unwavering pride in having served in the United States Army, reflecting his strong sense of duty and service to his country.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Norbert was known for his warm spirit and enthusiasm for life. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, passionately supporting his team through thick and thin. In his leisure time, he found joy in golfing, bowling, playing softball, and going to the gym.
Norbert's proudest accomplishments included being a Golden Glove Winner in Cincinnati Boxing, showcasing not just his athletic prowess but also his determination and resilience.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his sons, Norbert (Becky) Baute, Jr., Ron (Barb) Baute, Doug (Rose) Baute, Jon (Suzanne) Baute; daughter, Pam (Joe) Ambrosiano; brothers, Joe and Art Baute; sister, Mary Lou Kordenbrock; as well as 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who all held a special place in his heart.
Norbert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan Baute, and his late sister, Angie Hofmeyer.
Visitation is Friday, February 7, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM all in St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017.
Interment in St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
