Mary "Fran" Stander

Mary “Fran” Frances Stander, 59, of Parahall, CO formally of Ludlow, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Fran was a physical therapist for 20 years with Adams Twelve School System in Denver, CO. She had no greater joy than working with her preschool students for the last 20 years, other than her family, they were her greatest joy.  Fran loved the outdoors, whether it be enjoying a peaceful hike, skiing or just spending time in her mountain home in Colorado. Fran’s greatest love was her family, specifically her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She may have been miles away, but she was always interested in their development.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Charles, and Estelle Stander; brother-in-law, John Biesiada.

Survivors include her sisters, Jane Reilly (Tim) of Butler, Peggy Parrott (Rick) of Covington, Chris Stander of St. Louis, MO, Cathy Eads (Tony) of Naples, FL, Mary Biesiada of Cleveland, OH, Sue Gilbert (Fred) of Kettering, OH; brothers, Rev. Kip Stander of Dayton, OH, Bill Stander (Lisa) of Ludlow, Tom Stander of Show Low, AZ, Bob Stander of Covington, Ed Stander (Tamara) of Oshkosh, WI; 14 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016 with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 1 0:00am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY.

Interment in Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia, KY.
