Mary Frances Springelmeyer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was born on February 10, 1959, in Zanesville, Ohio.
Mary dedicated her career to serving as an Outpatient Lab Supervisor with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated and compassionate professional who always put others first.
Beyond her career, Mary's true joy in life came from spending time with her family and friends. She was known as the absolute best wife, mom, and Gigi. Her strength and determination in the face of any challenge were truly inspiring to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Those close to Mary remember her as a kind soul with a welcoming presence that made others feel at ease. Her great sense of humor brought joy to those around her, and her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her. The world seems dimmer without Mary's light shining brightly upon it.
In her free time, Mary enjoyed participating in the Tuesday night golf league at World of Golf with her friends. She cherished these moments of camaraderie and friendly competition.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Rob Springelmeyer of Ft. Mitchell; daughters, Taylor Springelmeyer of Louisville, Avery (Josh) Klaine of Burlington, Lexi (Andy) Lay of Norwood; sisters, Kim Bailey of Lakeland Florida, Beckie (Gary) Noertker of Goshen, Ohio; brother, Mike (Sharon) Bailey of Amelia, Ohio; as well as grandchildren Silas, Asher, Hensley, and Christian. She is preceded in death by her parents Homer "Stephen" and Thelma Bailey.
In fulfilling and respecting Mary’s wishes, we are holding a celebration of life rather than traditional funeral services. We ask family and friends to please join us on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 2:00PM until 6:00PM in the Sterling Event Center at St. Barabara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Road, Erlanger, KY 41018 to celebrate Mary’s incredible life.
To honor Mary's enduring love and the indelible mark she left on all who were fortunate enough to know her, let us raise a glass of chardonnay in tribute to a life well-lived. May her memory continue to inspire us to be kinder and more compassionate towards one another.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you continue to carry on Mary’s legacy of love and kindness by considering a donation to our grandson, Silas Klaine. All funds will be placed into a special needs “ABLEnow” account for his future education and medical expenses. Please ensure checks are made payable to Silas Klaine and mailed to P.O. Box 17567, Lakeside Park, KY 41017-9998.
Mary Frances Springelmeyer will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace.
