Luke Hensley, 66, of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Born on September 28, 1958, in Covington, Kentucky, Luke was a devoted partner, brother, and uncle who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Luke dedicated a significant part of his life to his career as a Fork Truck Driver for DHL, a role that he fulfilled with pride and commitment. After retiring, he found joy in various hobbies and interests, particularly his passion for cars and classic rock music. He also enjoyed the simple pleasure of unwinding with old western shows, a pastime that brought him much contentment.
He is survived by his sister, Dotti Hensley of Ft. Mitchell, and his niece Tori (Danny) Duncan of Independence. Luke was also a loving great-uncle to Chandler, Claire, Remington, and Brayden, who will cherish his memory deeply.
Luke was preceded in death by his fiancé, Connie Jackson, his brother Mark Hensley, and his parents, Charlie and Shirley Hensley.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM all in St. Barbara Catholic Church, located at 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018.
Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
