Keith Adams,79, of Hebron, passed away at his residence on January 30, 2024. Born on December 22, 1944, in Eubank, Kentucky, Keith was the son of Frazier and Melvina Adams. A man of great character, Keith served in the United States Army with pride. His service to our nation demonstrated his sense of duty and love for his country. Keith dedicated his career to the field of telecommunications, retiring as a consultant for Cincinnati Bell and AT&T. Throughout his professional journey, he played an instrumental role in shaping the industry. His expertise and dedication were highly valued by his colleagues and clients alike. While Keith's career was impressive, it was his compassionate nature that truly defined him. For the past eight years, he selflessly devoted himself to caring for his beloved wife Renee. His unwavering commitment as a caregiver was truly remarkable. Keith's caring spirit extended beyond his immediate family; he had an extensive network of friends who were deeply touched by his acts of kindness. Keith had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time outdoors nurturing his garden. His green thumb brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him. Outside of work and caregiving responsibilities, Keith loved cheering on the University of Kentucky teams as an avid fan. His enthusiasm for sports extended to horse racing as well—a true enthusiast whose excitement could be felt in every race.
Keith is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Renee Adams, who will remember him always as her rock and anchor in life's journey. He is also survived by his sons: Keith Adams Jr., of Park Hills; Kevin (Kristen) Adams from Cincinnati; sisters, Cindy Pumphrey of Somerset, KY; Billy Jean Lanigan of Waynesburg, KY; and Ora Todd from New Carlisle, OH.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Frazier and Melvina Adams; sister, Evalee Lanigan; brothers, Kermit Adams, Beryl Adams, Dennis Adams, Ruddell Adams, Frazier Adams, Jr., and Kenneth Adams.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:30 AM to the hour of Catholic Blessing all at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.
Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
