Donna Rae Barringer

Donna R. Barringer, 87, of Villa Hills, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Highland Springs Care Center. She was born on May 8, 1937, in Melrose Park, IL. Donna touched the lives of many through her work as lead cashier at McHale's Meat Market in Fort Wright, Ky and cashier/asst.manager with King Kwik Grocery also in Ft. Wright.

She loved sewing, playing a variety of games, traveling, cooking, and maintaining a beautiful home. Her creativity and attention to detail showed through in everything she did. Donna's passion for exploring the world led her to create unforgettable memories in various countries.

In her lifetime, Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Roy Weiland and William "Bill" Barringer. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Patricia (Terry) Weiland of Ft. Thomas, son, Robert (Terrie) Weiland of Goshen, Ohio; and daughter Lauri Robertson of Anderson, Ohio; stepsons, William (Sue) Barringer Jr. of Punta Gorda, FL, James (Karen) Barringer of Ft. Meyers, FL, and Paul (Julie) Barringer of Woodstock, GA; brother, Joseph Cichy of Chicago, IL; along with 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Donna’s children are respecting her wishes by handling services private to the convenience of the family.

Donna will be remembered for her generosity, resilience, and dedication to her family. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
