David "Dave" W. Denham, 66, of Hebron, KY, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, July 13, 2024.

David loved being a Dad and Grandpa and proudly bragged on his kids and grandkids, which ultimately resulted in him moving back to KY from FL. David's devotion to his family was something to be admired. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family.

A big part of David's life was spent in Ludlow, at James Rigney Memorial Stadium manning the grill at the LYF games. He loved spending time watching the kids, including his son, Brandon, play football and his daughter, Britney, cheer, all while making sure nobody went hungry.

David's love for cooking was not just about creating delicious meals, but about the joy he found in sharing those meals with loved ones. David's culinary skills were not just a profession, but a passion that he shared with many. He was widely known as "Chef Dave" or "Grill Master" at a number of places, but especially to those at The Moose Lodge in Zephyrhills, FL, and The Scooby Snack Shack in Ludlow, KY, which ultimately was his claim to fame. Countless creations sparked a large amount of business and was the start to many relationships he would carry on. His love for cooking was unmatched.

David served his country with honor in the United States Navy, specializing in Radio Communications. As a Vietnam War Veteran, he exemplified bravery and dedication during his military service. David's proudest accomplishments, aside from his children/grandchildren, included serving as the Vice First Command Officer for AMVETS and being an integral part of their motorcycle club in Zephyrhills, FL. His contributions to the organization were a reflection of his strong sense of duty and he will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his community.

David is preceded in death by his father, Robert Webb.

Survivors include his daughters, Britney (Chris) Amann of Burlington, KY, Bonnie Sue (Steve) Marshall of Lake Worth, FL; son, Brandon Denham of Georgetown, KY; Mother, Helen Dunn of Zephyrhills, FL; brother, Richie (Caitlin) Denham of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Judy Westhouse of West Palm Beach, FL, Pam (Jennifer) Denham of Murfreesboro, TN, Sandy Denham of Zephyrhills, FL, Dora (Tommy) Shewey of Phoenix, AZ and 4 grandchildren, Carter and Mason Denham, Cameron and Cooper Amann as well as a host of family and friends.
