Sharon Kay Klare, 69, of Bromley, KY, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. She was a retired Personal Assistant to Mitch McConnel and Jim Bunning and was very involved in various political groups, across the aisle, in Northern Kentucky. Sharon loved her family and was a devoted wife and mother, especially to her only loving son, Brandon. She loved people and tried to help whenever she could. She was a fighter who survived breast cancer. Sharon was an advocate for women's health and Senior citizens welfare. Beloved aunt, grand and great grand aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She had a great personality and will be missed by her family and friends. Anyone who dealt with her was the better for it. She strived for the betterment of the community. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Klare; parents, Alvis and Idelle Roy; brother, David Wayne Roy and sister, Paula Jean Stone.
Survivors include her son, Brandon Klare of Bromley and sister, Brenda Clifton, also of Bromley.
A Memorial Visitation is on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY, followed by a Graveside Service in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
