Elmer A Cook, Jr., 83, of Sadieville, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his residence. Elmer was a retired Machinist with R. A. Jones. He served our country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Sickell. Elmer was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He loved the outdoors, especially boating, fishing and swimming. He lived at Lake Cumberland for 30 years.
Elmer was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Frances Cook and great grandchild, Sara Renee Cook.
Survivors include his sons, Raymond and Christopher Cook both of Mayport, FL; daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Robinson of Sadieville; sister, Kathy (Tom) Barker of Texas; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY.
Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.
