Thomas E. Wheatley, 67, of Burlington, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was a retired scheduler for Reliable Casting Corp. in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thomas loved all sports, especially coaching his children’s basketball, baseball, and even soccer teams; but especially he loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Thomas enjoyed playing softball, was an avid horseracing fan, UK Basketball and Cincinnati Red’s fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Wheatley.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Reba Wheatley of Burlington; son, Tim (Jen) Wheatley of Union; daughters, Gretchen (Tim) Barth of Ft. Thomas, Charlsie Wheatley of Florence; brothers, Tim Wheatley of Ludlow, Greg Wheatley of Ludlow, Buddy Wheatley of Covington, Joe Wheatley of Covington, John Wheatley of Florence; sisters, Mary Kim Klei of Edgewood, Jeannie Wirth of Covington, Julie Leib of Ft. Mitchell, Beth Wheatley of Erlanger, Pam Wheatley of Erlanger, Karen Roundtree of Covington; grandchildren, Jordan, Michelle, Haley, Lilia and one on the way plus one great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation is on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the hour of Memorial Service at 2:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation NICU, 375 Dixmyth Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45220.
