All of their friends knew that Ken would have the table set properly with linens, flowers, and candles while Helen would prepare an outstanding meal. The children joked that every evening was a special event, dinner might not be served until 10 pm but it was always ceremonial. Ken had a warm smile that welcomed anyone and an artistic touch. He loved to garden and there was never a house he did not remodel. Ken Pop, as his grandchildren called him, had a sweet soul and was loved by all.
He was predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Helen Perry Kendall, his precious daughter Helen Marie Kendall, as well as his two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his 3 sons, Larry (Kathy), Edward (Allison), Tony, and a nephew, Arthur Howard. He has 9 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
