Marguerite Schmidt Hoffman, 100, of Ft. Wright, passed away on

Friday, September 26

, 2014 at Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger. She had been a partner in Schmidt Food Marts in Covington. Marguerite was a lifetime member of St. John’s Congregational Church in

West Covington where she held many offices over the years. She was also a member of the Ohio Valley Doll Club and Ft. Wright Garden Club.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hoffman and brother, Edward Schmidt.

Survivors include her nephew, Edward Schmidt of Cincinnati, dear friends, Harry and Janice Geimeier and many friends from church.

A luncheon will be held at noon with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:30 PM on
