Eileen Smith, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, KY. She was a graphic artist for various companies in Cincinnati including freelancing. Eileen was a member of Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington where she volunteered for many years. She also enjoyed the fine arts especially painting.
Eileen is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Smith; daughter, Elizabeth Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Eric (Lynn) Smith of Florence; David (Nan McGinnis) Smith of Cincinnati; brother, Robert (Mary) Doyle of Oregon; sisters, Kathleen (Marv) Stock of Villa Hills, KY, Carol (Harold) Price of Detroit, MI; and 2 grandchildren, Matt (Jenna) Strahlendorf and Laura Strahlendorf; and great grandchild, Jude “The Dude”.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 9:30AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM all in the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, 1140 Madison Ave, Covington, KY 41011.
Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, 1140 Madison Ave, Covington, KY 41011.
