Mary Dorothy “Dottie” Alford, 96, of Covington, passed away on September 10, 2014 at Florence Park Care Center. She was a homemaker. Dottie was a member of St. Ann Church in West Covington, a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1484 in Covington. She loved cooking, books on tape and spending time with her family.
Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Alford.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin and Rod Alford; sisters, Shelley Shaw and Earlene Hollman; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 2045 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45202
