Arthur Brophy, 96, of Ludlow, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Providence Pavilion in Covington. He was a retired Carman for Southern Railroad. Arthur was a member of Community of Faith Presbyterian Church in Ft. Wright and Unity Lodge #478 F. & A.M. in Ludlow. He was on the Committee for the 100 Anniversary of Ludlow and was in the Ludlow High School Hall of Fame.
Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Elizabeth Brophy (2001).
Survivors include his son, Ed (Sharon) Brophy of London, KY; daughters, Judith (Clark) Hall of Florence, Patricia Sherriff of Ormond Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Masonic Service at 6:30 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Service is on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Community of Faith Presbyterian Church, 1400 Highland Pike, Covington KY 41011.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Community of Faith Presbyterian Church.
