John Marsh

John W. Marsh, 75, of Highland Heights, KY passed away on August 28, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Gladys Marsh.  John was the devoted husband of Carolyn Lillard Marsh for 54 years and a loving father to Renee McKenzie, Rhonda (Mac) Heaberlin, and Johnny (Alison) Marsh.  He was grandfather to Eric (Liz), Alex, Reiley (Ryan), Logan, Sarah, Connor, and great-grandfather to Kate.  He is also survived by his brother Bill (Saundra) Marsh and sister Bert (Jim) Huff.

John loved his Lord most of all and demonstrated a servants heart having served as minister of music for many years in the Church of the Nazarene.  He also served in various administrative roles on Nazarene district boards.

His interests included Southern gospel music, the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, UK Basketball, and working in his yard.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 4:00 PM to the hour of Service at 7:00 PM all in Springdale Church of the Nazarene, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246.  A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Alexandria Cemetery, Alexandria, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tri County SOUL Ministries at Springdale Church of the Nazarene, or The Jesus Film Harvest Partners, 15055 W 116th St, Olathe, KS 66062.
