Donnie Edward Bishop, 64, of Stanford, KY, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at his residence. He was a former welder for McGinnis/Carlisle Company in Ludlow.
He served our country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Bishop and brother, Elbert Bishop.
Survivors include his daughters, Tracey Bishop of Florence, Angela Spegal of Covington; son, Chris Bishop of Dry Ridge; parents, William E. and Margie Bishop of Stanford; brothers, Jim Bishop of Villa Hills and Lonnie Bishop of Ozark, AL; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; special niece and caregiver, April Bishop Whitis of Stanford and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation is on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 10:00 AM to the hour of service at 12:00 noon all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, KY.
