Eugene Sandlin,82, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired assembly line worker at Interstate Brands for more than 40 years. Eugene served our country in the US Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ludlow. He loved the outdoors as he was a member of the Kenton Game and Fish Association and enjoyed golfing. He also enjoyed working as a woodworker and drywaller.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Laura Sandlin.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Sandlin of Ludlow; son, David (Tonya) Sandlin of Walton; daughter, Vickie (Mike) Baker of Hebron; sister, Zelma Earls of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Megan, Evan, Ben, Erica, Elizabeth; and great- grandchildren, Sunday and Wren.
Visitation is on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the hour of Service at 1:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky, 41016.
Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, 400 Linden Street, Ludlow, Kentucky 41016 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
