Joseph Schneider, 65, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was a skilled Electrician for over 40 years working mainly on airport lighting at various airports across the country. Joe was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Crescent Springs. He loved fishing, camping, hunting and was an animal lover who especially loved his dogs, Winston and Sophie.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Cathy Schneider of Beavercreek; daughters, Jenifer (Christopher) Turner of Toledo, OH, Jillian (Travis) Hixson of Miamisburg, OH; brothers, Tom Schneider of Ft. Wright, Philip Schneider of Bromley and Paul Schneider of Leesburg, VA.; sisters, Mary Ruberg of Edgewood, Rose Schneider of Washington D.C., Theresa Eubank of Crescent Springs, Chris Rider of Bromley and Patty Helmer of Ludlow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Marcella Schneider; brothers, Edward Schneider and Gerald “Stormy” Schneider.
Visitation is on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Catholic Blessing at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Humane Society of Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Rd, Dayton, OH 45417.
