Eva Grace Smalley, 83, of Cold Spring, passed away on

Thursday, August 16

, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a social butterfly. She loved clogging, working puzzles, and reading. Most importantly, she loved being with her family and traveling to Singapore to visit her grandson, his wife and their children.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Smalley (2010); son, Jeffrey Smalley (2017); parents, Morgie and Edith Doane, and brother, William Doane.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Larry Halenkamp) Smalley of Fort Thomas; brother, Douglas (Patricia) Doane of Richwood; sister, Margie Doane of Rabbit Hash; grandchild, Brian (Tiffany) Cook and great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Hank all of Singapore; step-grandchildren, Michael Halenkamp, Nathan Halenkamp, Maria Reehill and 14 step great-grandchildren.
