Eva Tobergte, 71, of DeMossville, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her residence. She retired from Cincinnati Time Recorder as an Inspector. Eva was a member of Gardenersville Baptist Church in DeMossville. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, roses and was a huge Kentucky Basketball fan. Eva especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Tobergte (2015) and her parents Green and Geneva Browning.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Tobergte of DeMossville; daughter, Angel Pewett of Newport; brothers, Ronald “Whitey” Browning of Hyden, KY, David Browning of Wooton, KY, Bill Browning of Mt. Carmel, OH, Ray Browning of Ludlow; sisters, Rose “Mick” Redmond of Knoxville, TN, Donna Miller of Ludlow, Martha Davidson of Wooton, KY, Iva Sims of Hazard, KY; beloved aunt, Lola Combs of Hazard, KY; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Payne, Jeremy Ashcraft, Chelsea Martin, Steven Skaggs, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
Visitation is on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to VA Medical Center, 1000 S Ft Thomas Ave, Fort Thomas, KY 41075 or DCCH Halo League, 75 Orphanage Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
