Robert Parton, Sr.
Robert T. “Bobby” Parton, Sr., 77, of Williamstown, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Whetstone Rehabilitation Center in Columbus. He was a retired Commercial Artist for Aielle Production Art in Cincinnati. After his retirement, he dedicated his life to training miniature horses, one of his most notable clients was Caywood Ledford, the voice of Kentucky sports. Bobby was an avid UK basketball fan and sports enthusiast. He was a dog handler and loved fishing.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Jane Parton of Williamstown; sons, Robert “Rob” (Kristy) Parton of Columbus, Ric (Cheryl) Parton of Union; brothers, Ralph (Patricia) Parton, Jr. of Florence, Jerry Parton of Villa Hills, Patrick (Beth) Parton of Erlanger, grandchildren, Logan, Mitchell, Louis and Sarah Parton and Jordan Reynolds.
Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, David Parton.
Visitation is on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to the hour of memorial service at 5:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street #1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
