Mary Jane Bertke
Mary “Jane” Bertke, 92, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. She was a homemaker and member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell and Summit Hills Country Club in Edgewood. Jane was a Charlie’s Angel volunteer at St. Charles Care Center in Ft. Wright. She loved bowling and was in the 200 Club. Jane also loved playing cards with the “Do Nothin Club” and enjoyed traveling with them as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bertke (2004) and sister, Susan Rawlings.
Survivors include her sons, Paul Bertke of Laquinta, CA, David Bertke of Kenton Hills, Michael Bertke of Burlington; daughters, Diane Smith and Jayne Conlee both of Edgewood; sisters, Lucy Klein of Crestview Hills, Patty Slavik of St. Mary, OH; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM to the hour of Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM all in Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
Inurnment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
