Mark Futrell, 81, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his residence. Mark served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a retired truck driver for U.S Pole Company. Mark was a member of First Baptist Church in Ludlow. He was an avid UK Basketball fan and loved watching them on TV.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret Futrell of Covington; daughters, Dawn (Matt) Stanchek of Independence, Mary Ellen (Jason) Richardson of Ludlow, Lynn Futrell of Lampe, Missouri; sister, Ruth Love of New Castle, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Futrell.
Visitation is on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
