Stanley Spence, 69, of Bethel, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Mount Washington Care Center in Cincinnati. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps in Viet Nam where he was wounded and received the purple heart. Stanley loved antique cars, Nascar, tractor pulls, fixing up cars and trucks, racing dirt bikes and especially sharing these interests with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters, Amy (Brian) Zepf of Florence, Lora (Tom) Ernest of DeMossville; brother, Gerald Spence of Union and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cleve, Junior and Lloyd Spence.
Visitation is on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 10:00 AM till the hour of Service at 12:00 pm all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 or Hospice of Cincinnati, Inc., P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597.
