Brenda “Kay” Bennett Young, 74, of Latonia, passed away on
Wednesday, January 11, 2017
at her residence. She was a retired Blueprint Expeditor Specialist at Boeing Aircraft in Everett, Washington. Kay was a loving generous mother and grandmother, a member of Central Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Wright and the Ludlow Senior Citizens. She loved dressing to the nines and wearing her favorite jewelry, enjoyed singing, dancing and was basketball homecoming queen at Hancock County High school.
Survivors include her daughter, Resa Silcox of Covington; son, Kenneth (Donna) Lawson of Hawesville, KY.; sister, Gail Young Golden of Lewisport, KY; grandchildren, Kenneth Lawson Jr., Jeremy Lawson, Jennifer Gaynor, Natasha (Hank) Loos, Tiffany Slater, Melissa and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Bobby, Tatum, Riley, Caitlyn, Emily, Jenna, Courtney, Alexis, Chelsey and Kaylee.
Kay was preceded in death by her father, Thurman (Ty) Young, mother, Virginia Young and brother, Charles Young.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
