Marianne D. Ward, 64, of Florence, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at her residence.  She was a retired Machinist for LF Steering. Marianne’s life centered around her children and grandchildren and friends.  She especially loved baking brownies and cookies with her grandchildren and made sure she always had the ingredients on hand.  She also loved swimming with them.

Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Ward (2000) and sister, Diane Engelbrecht.

Survivors include her son, James Ward of Florence; daughter, Jackie Koenig of Erlanger; brother, Paul Workman of Independence; sister, Anna Marie Prautsch of Erlanger; grandchildren, Kayleb and Jarred Simpson, and Cole and Ashley Koenig.

Visitation is on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Service on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10:30 AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.

Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
