William "Bill" Goodpaster II
William “Bill” Albert Goodpaster II, 40, of Newport, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at his residence. He was an employee of Doppes Lumber Company in Cincinnati. Bill was a member of First Baptist Church in Ludlow. He loved his children and coached knothole baseball for his son’s team. He liked to fish, cook and clean. Bill loved music, especially Pearl Jam and enjoyed spending his free time writing poems.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Ellis Hatter; sisters, Anita Deaton and Lou Ann Soward.
Survivors include Stacey Goodpaster; daughter, Jordan Goodpaster; sons, Billy Goodpaster III, Gabe Goodpaster and Aspen Goodpaster all of Ludlow; fathers, Gary (Linda) Hatter of Ludlow, William (Ginny) Goodpaster of Florida; brothers, Garry Ray Hatter, Jr. of Ft. Wright, David Hatter and Jeffery Hatter both of Florence and grandmother, Gail Ellis of Ludlow.
Visitation is on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Service on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Floral Hill Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, 400 Linden Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
