April "Kitty" Leach

April ‘Kitty” Leach, nee Shields, 59, of Amelia, formerly of Ludlow, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati.  She was a laborer with General Data Company in Cincinnati. Kitty loved the Cincinnati Bengals, Ludlow Panthers, puzzles, and going to the zoo.  She also enjoyed watching Greys Anatomy, collecting Fairy figurines, raising her spider plants and aloe plants, and most of all spending time with her grandbabies.

Kitty is preceded in death by her daughter, Nikki Leach; brother, Rick Shields and parents, Richard and Anna Mae Shields.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dave Todd of Amelia; daughters, Leanne (James) Leach, Amanda (Jimbob) Leach, and Stephanie (Steve) Smith all of Ludlow; son,

Andrew (Stacy) Leach of Ludlow

; sister, Jerri Jenkins of Walton; brothers, Steve and Scott Shields of Bromley,

David Shields of Elgin, SC, Todd Shields of Ludlow;

18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 Noon all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home. 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky 41016.

Interment is in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
