Kim Judith Kroger, 59, of Ludlow, passed away on

Thursday, July 28

, 2016 at her home in Ludlow. Kim was a devoted mother, grandmother, and had a loving and helping heart for everyone she met. While Kim's seven children were the ultimate focus and joy of her life,

Kim also enjoyed

to cook, garden, craft and to volunteer in her community.

Always on the move, she was active with Ludlow Schools and the Ludlow community including Girl Scouts, Athletic Boosters, and the PTA. Kim enjoyed organizing the Hot Dogs in the Park program and also volunteered for the Buddy Walk in Cincinnati.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Kroger of Ludlow; children, Corey (Sonya) Plybon of Ft. Thomas, Adam Plybon of Covington, Chelsea Mays of Ludlow, Casey Kroger of Ludlow, Caitlyn Kroger of Ludlow, Emily Kroger of Ludlow, and John Kroger of Ludlow; mother, Judith Krebs of Highland Heights; brother, John Brenning of Ludlow; granddaughter, Moira Plybon, a grandson due in October, and countless other family and friends.

Kim is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Brenning.

Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.

A reception to celebrate Kim's life will take place immediately following the funeral

12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Garden of Park Hills, 1622 Dixie Hwy, Park Hills, KY.
