Artie F. Reed (nee: Bell), 89, of Crescent Springs, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at her residence. She was a Retired Assembler for Mosler Lock Company. Artie was a member of the Ludlow Christian Church. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Vashti Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Artie was a caretaker for many people especially the Ludlow Senior Citizens. She was very active participating in yoga and roller skating until she was 81 years old.
Artie is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Jim Reed (1975); sons, Joey (1978) and Marion Reed.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Reed (Lisa) of Vevay, IN, Jim Reed (Marian) of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Wanda Sucher (Jim) of Crescent Springs, Linda Roche (Gerry) of Hillsboro, OH, Debbie Rich of Covington; brother, Frank Bell (Charlotte) of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Carol Houp of St. Petersburg, FL; 24 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 5:00PM until the hour of service at 7:00PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky.
Cremation will follow the service.
