Wayne Young, 78, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. He was retired from the Research and Development office with The Formica Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member and past deacon of Union Presbyterian Church, past member of ROOF with The Formica Association, past president of the Bed and Breakfast association, past volunteer of the Bromley and Park Hills Fire Department and Life Squad. Wayne also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and feeding the birds in his yard.
Survivors include his loving wife, Diane Young of Florence; sons, Michael Young of Bromley, Mark Young of Richmond; daughters, Vickie Norris of Florence, Melody Smith of Cincinnati; brothers, Don Young of Ft. Wright; grandchildren, Hannah Norris, Katie Burchett, Emma Lytle, David Smith III, and Patrick Norris.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Young.
