Albert Spellbring, Jr.

Albert J. Spellbring, Jr., 95, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.  He was a retired head traffic manager with Kroger Company on State Ave. in Cincinnati.  Al proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of St. Augustine Church in Covington. Al loved to spend his time reading and sitting on the front porch watching the traffic.

Survivors include his daughter, Terri Spellbring of Ft. Mitchell and son, Gary Goodwin of Alexandria.

Al was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Spellbring (2001) and sister, Thelma Frietch.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial are private and at the convenience of the family.

Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
