Dixie A. Roach (nee Mobley), 79, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Woodcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elsmere. She was a waitress with Maisonette Restaurant in Cincinnati for 16 years. Dixie was a member of Ludlow Christian Church and also attended Crossroads church in Florence, a Ludlow High school Cheerleader, and loved playing cards with her girlfriends each week.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Roach Sr. (2013); daughter, Teri Mills (2015) and 4 grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacki Harney of Union; sons, Keith (Terri) O’Banion of Milford, Darrin Hallau of New Hampshire; sister, Jane Gadker of Florence; grandchildren, Traci Harney Dawson, Alex Hallau, Katie O’Banion; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4:00 PM until the hour of Memorial Service at 6:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Neediest Kids of All, P.O. Box 636666, Cincinnati, Ohio 45263-6666.
