Ruth Ellen “Big R” Hartman, 56, of Ludlow, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at her residence. She worked in the cafeteria at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Ft. Thomas. Ruthie adored her nieces and nephews, they were her life. She never knew a stranger and loved truly and deeply.
Survivors include her brothers, Daniel “Bob” (Danell) Hartman of Burlington, Lawrence “Larry” (Paula) Hartman of Ludlow, John (Debbie) Hartman of Florence; sisters, Diane Hartman of Crescent Springs, Mary Lee (John) Conway of Villa Hills, Deborah (Ken William) Deaton of Crescent Springs, Patricia Hartman and Donna Hartman both of Ludlow; sister-in-law, Kathy Hartman of Southgate; 9 nieces & nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Hartman and her brother, Richard Hartman (2014).
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Sts. Boniface & James Church, 304 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ben Jackson Memorial Fund at Jewish Hospital, 5
