Elizabeth “Betty” Todtenbier, 94, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Carmel Manor in Ft. Thomas. Betty was a life-long member of St. Agnes Church in Ft. Wright, where she also worked in the school cafeteria for 16 years. Betty was a social butterfly and belonged to several clubs in the community such as Leisure Timers. She loved embroidery, and nothing brought her more joy than sharing her beautiful creations with her family and friends. She won a blue ribbon at the Kenton County Fair for her needlework. Betty loved nature, travelling, and spending time in her garden. She adored animals, especially her grandcats. Betty’s true joy was being an amazing mother to her three boys, which was a trend she continued as “Granny” with her two granddaughters and “adopted” granddaughter, Meghan Manley.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Todtenbier (2004); sons, David Todtenbier (2014), James Todtenbier (1969), George Todtenbier (1953); brother, Paul Waymeyer (1984), and sister, Mary Waymeyer (2007).

Survivors include her granddaughters, Therese and Beth Todtenbier of Fort Wright and daughter-in-law, Diana Todtenbier.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 11:30 AM at St Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Fort Wright, KY 41011.

Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY.
