Ruby Dawson French
Ruby Dawson French, 91, of Erlanger, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger. She was a retired Head Librarian for the Doraville, GA Public Library. Ruby loved books and reading and passed that on to her family, friends and others. She was a great cake baker and candy maker, an unpublished poet and encourager of education. Ruby was a member of Decoursey Baptist Church in Covington.
Survivors include her sons, Terry (Mary Jo) Dawson of Erlanger, Joel Dawson of Columbus Ohio; daughter, Patricia Dawson Dillon of Cowgill, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Dawson and James French; brother, Luther Drake; sisters, Lorene Wilson, Pauline Fernett, and Della Pogue.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203
