Rita Wirth Gorley
Rita Wirth Gorley, 50, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Tidewell Hospice in Ellenton, FL.
Rita was a teacher for many years where she taught at Daughtry Elementary then most recently, Gullett Elementary, both in Bradenton, FL. Besides her love of teaching, she enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and traveling, but most of all spending time with her children.
Rita is survived by her twin children, Max and Alaina Gorley; brothers, Steve (Carol), Marty (Nancy), Gary (Onie), Tom, Mike (Canis), Jim (Rhonda) and Vin (Jeannie) Wirth; sisters Mary (Gordon) Clark and Margaret (Robin) Huff; also survived by the loving family of Rob Gorley: Sandra and Frank Burberry, Elizabeth and Dan Lowe, John and Cheryl Gorley, Leigh and Matt Gillies, and John and Susan Yates.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Florence Wirth.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 2:00PM until the hour of memorial service at 3:30PM, all at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm St., Ludlow, KY, 41016.
A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch, FL, 34202.
