Dennis “Denny” Thompson, 74, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his residence.  He was a retired Conductor with the Norfolk-Southern Railway.  He was a member of the Dutchman Rod and Gun Club.  Denny was an avid fisher and hunter.  In younger years, he was a good athlete and loved baseball.  Denny cherished spending time with his grandkids, shooting their BB guns and fishing, but most of all, exchanging knuckle sandwiches together.

Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Sharon Harding of Florence; son, Thomas Harding of Covington; daughters, Michele (Todd) Hogan of Crescent Springs, Kristy (Craig) Seither of Ft. Wright; brother, Richard Thompson of Crawfordsville, IN; and grandchildren, Lane, Jillian, Luke, Brynne, Denver, Darcy, and Maeve.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby Thompson; sisters, Sandra Kendall and Betty Ross; and loving pet dog, Roscoe.

Services will be held later at the convenience of the family.
