Kenneth Gavin, 84, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his residence. He was the owner and operator of Gavin Plumbing and Heating. Ken retired, after 24 years, in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a member of Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church. Ken was an avid golfer and loved photography and vacations. He enjoyed reading as well as hiking and camping.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Wavoline Gavin; sons, David Michael Gavin, Dennis Alan (Kaiti) Gavin; brothers, Wayne Gavin, Robert (Sandy) Gavin, Daryl Lanham, Terry (Lisa) Lanham; sisters, Carolyn (Paul) Kemper, June (John) Saalfeld; grandchildren, Rami (Kyle) Ballinger, Ben (Kathleen) Gavin, Michael Gavin, Cody Gavin, Zena Gavin, Erin Thompson, Hope Stevens, Harley Stevens, Harmony Stevens, Xavier Pantoja and great grandchild, Emma Ballinger.
Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, 2323 Dixie Hwy, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church.
